I am Tom Paradiso, a 2008 Olympian in Rowing. I am currently looking for a job in digital media in New York City.

Tom Paradiso is a 2008 Olympian and World Champion in rowing, a Ten-Time US National Team Member, 2012 Ironman Lake Placid finisher and former rowing coach at the University of Pennsylvania, Loyola Marymount University, and Mercer Junior Rowing Club.  He worked as a mobile media manager at JAGTAG, Inc, a mobile advertising start up in Princeton, NJ.  Currently, Tom is looking for a job in digital media in New York.  Tom is well versed in social media and technology.  He has very active accounts in facebook, twitter, tumblr, instagram, foursquare, youtube, and a few others.

It was the best showing for the whole team in a number of years.

• Responsible for daily organization and execution of practice sessions for the Freshman Team • Assisted Head Coach with all logistics including travel planning for competition and training trips, alumni reunion and fundraising events and publications. • Headed all recruiting efforts for supported applications to the school, corresponding with over 300 prospective student athletes per graduating year. This includes weekly email and phone calls, collection and evaluation of academic record, and balancing the supported candidates’ athletic and academic ability in line with given department guidelines. • Created and maintained social media accounts for the team for the first time, including facebook, twitter and youtube with regular updates of insight on practice, race footage, etc.

• First Mobile Media Manager and eventual leader of a team of four in my department. • Created, optimized, executed and ran support for mobile ad campaigns for clients such as ESPN Magazine, SI Swimsuit Issue, Cleveland Cavaliers, Nike 6.0 and more using JAGTAG CMS. • Managed database with hardware specifications for the majority of US cellular phones • Utilized emerging social media platforms such as facebook, twitter, foursquare, etc. for product development and deployment.

Recently an elite athlete in rowing, Tom is trying to not become completely sedentary in his new career goals. Rowing, erging, running, cycling and triathlons are a big part of Tom's life. He also is an avid music listener, collecter and formerly a mediocre electronica remixer. Travelling around the world is another interest that will be realized with the conclusion of his athletic career.
